Administrative Management The incumbent will oversee a variety of administrative processes, including the distribution and dissemination of incoming mail, internal controls, records management, publication and forms management, and timesheets. Directs administrative support services to ensure that inquiries, correspondence, and actions for the area of responsibility are addressed appropriately. The AO will ensure that the overall supply needs, services for police services are met in a timely manner. This position implements administrative policies and procedures for the service and proposes limited improvements to administrative directives and policies to the chief. Discusses pertinent issues with operating personnel to determine the impact on new or revised guidance on current operations. Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of administrative directives and instructions. Analyzes management plans to determine the impact on administrative processes. Conducts limited studies and evaluations to improve administrative processes. Human Resources Liaison Acts in a confidential capacity and exercises discretion in handling and coordinating sensitive information on behalf of the Director and other management officials. To include hearing preparations; audits and investigations. Disciplinary actions; attendance at management meetings where labor-management relations matters are discussed. Bargaining Unit meetings; etc. Manages, monitors, coordinates and provides regulatory guidance on all personnel actions, Organizational structures, and position management, for the Activity. Recommends and assists with allocation of personnel/manpower resources. Documents and reviews personnel and distribution changes. Implements personnel/manpower reporting procedures; and conducts onsite surveys and studies to analyze organization structure,. Mission and functions, workload, and proposed personnel staffing, etc. Reviews, Interprets and provides recommendations for the revision of regulatory guidelines, policies and standing operating procedures pertinent to personnel administration and all Activity operations. Participates in the planning for budgeting needs and financial management for the Police Service. Assists with budget formulation, justification, and execution; financial management; and financial reporting. Provides advice to management and program personnel on budgetary and finance issues. Manages budget formulation and execution for a changing budget of administrative expenses involving different funding sources. Work Schedule:

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-7). Specialized experience is experience directing or performing administrative functions related to program analysis, personnel management, and budget. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an equivalent combination of specialized experience and education as described above to meet the qualification requirements (e.g., 6 months of specialized experience and one year of graduate education as described above). The duties and responsibilities of this position require some mobility between the Office and various other clinics/offices located at any of our health care system sites. General the work is sedentary but may require some slight physical effort. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
