As an Inventory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting the overall operations of our company.

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and digital systems.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory shipments.
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to anticipate stock shortages or excesses.
Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to facilitate timely replenishment of inventory.
Prepare and package inventory items for shipment according to company standards.
Assist in implementing inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize inventory turnover.
Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory management processes and improve efficiency.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
Proven experience as an inventory assistant or similar role.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lift and move heavy inventory items as needed.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
