hoots Restaurants offer fast casual dining with a limited, moderately-priced menu that features chicken wings, seafood and sandwiches.
Together with beer, along with other food and beverage offerings and merchandise.
Responsibilities The Back of House (BOH)Staff / Cook prepares menu items according to guest's orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
Takes and records temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators, freezers, and holding trays or compartments.
Keeps records of the quantities of food used.
Cooks ordered items to specifications per approved procedures and recipes.
Prepares portions and food items for storage.
Weigh and measure ingredients.
Checks in and puts away inventory orders and deliveries in storeroom and freezer.
Stores food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
Washes, peels, and cuts various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
Mixes sauces and ingredients for salads.
Shakes ordered food items in sauces.
Distributes food items to counter staff for delivery to guests per itemized order.
Packages take-out foods.
Assists with setting up serving line.
Disposes of trash and sets up garbage containers and utensil pans for self-bussing after the meal.
Washes dishes and pots and pans after meals.
Scrapes leftovers from dishes into garbage containers.
Operates dishwasher and cleans dining area.
Sweeps and mops walk-ins, kitchen, refrigerator/walk-in coolers, and dishwasher areas.
Adheres to all food safety and quality policies and procedures, kitchen sanitation and hygiene duties.
Informs supervisors when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low, and order needed items Must adhere to uniform requirements Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older; of legal age to serve, pour, and clear alcoholic beverages if serving.
Must have good customer service skills, through use of good language and communication skills.
Ability to clearly present information through the spoken word; influence or persuade others through oral presentation in positive and negative circumstances.
Ability to work a flexible schedule days/nights/weekends and holidays Attend Orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the New Employee Handbook and New Hire Packet.
Successfully complete the required alcohol awareness certification.
While performing the duties of this job, the BOH Crew member is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen.
May also be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, when in the dish area or walk in cooler, and sometimes uses toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning.
The noise level in the restaurant is usually loud.
The employee may occasionally climb, crouch, lift, balance, or stoop.
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and utilize computer point of sale devices.
Schedules may vary from week to week, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
