Job Description:
Provides strategic leadership and technical direction for research and program operations for the Focus Area for Compassion and Ethics (FACE), a rapidly growing, multifaceted program at the Task Force for Global Health (TFGH). Develops, manages, and oversees the FACE research portfolio. Serves as co-lead in developing and managing a new human subjects research ethics unit for the TFGH. Responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for program growth. Develops short and long term goals and objectives. Establishes and administers policies and procedures. Leads internal and external communications. Represents the program in various national and international settings. Nurtures collaborations with program partners, including the Global Learning Laboratory at the World Health Organization (WHO). Provides leadership, support, mentorship, and supervisory oversight to members of the FACE team, including student interns; establishes best practices for internal operations. Performs other related duties as required. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A doctorate degree in a field related to the program, and five years of professional experience related to the program. Previous demonstration of supervisory and program/project management skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and basic competency in Spanish or French. PREFFERRED
Qualifications:
Research experience, preferably in ethics or compassion research. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to effectively engage with senior level officials and partners. Proven management and organizational skills, including experience leading, building and successfully managing public health projects or teams. Ability to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate strong strategic and analytical capabilities. Superb writing and editing skills. International health experience. Familiarity with global health ethics. Capacity to work comfortably with ambiguity in complex dynamic systems.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Operations Management, Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
