Child/Adolescent/Family Psychologist in Decatur

We are a small private practice in downtown Decatur interested in a licensed (or soon to be licensed) psychologist to work with children, adolescents, and families.
We see clients ranging from preschool-aged children to older adults in a thriving, well-respected, outpatient practice and are looking for an excellent, well-trained, caring and positively-focused colleague to join us.
This clinician would possess a strong background and training in cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as experience and openness to other evidence-based treatments.
They would be comfortable working with a varied patient population who present with anxiety, adjustment, attention, mood, behavioral and other disorders.
They would also be adept at work with parents and consulting with colleagues here in the office and medical professionals within the community.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early career psychologist or one who wishes to expand their practice in this area.
We provide a newly renovated, fully furnished office with a nice waiting area and break room, free parking for clinicians and patients, and access to all of the restaurants, shops and businesses in downtown Decatur.
We also provide referrals and marketing to quickly build and fill a caseload, office equipment and supplies, billing software and support, and both clinical and business consultation.
We are well connected to the community and to excellent pediatricians, psychiatrists, schools and other clinicians and professionals who send us good, motivated clients.
We are also walking distance to Decatur High School, Beacon Hill Middle, several elementary schools and Agnes Scott College.

Our primary goal is to continue providing excellent care and expand services within this community.
We are looking for a colleague that is caring, thoughtful, hardworking and collaborative with patients and colleagues, who is open and motivated to continue learning and growth, and who would like to build a practice that serves this community.
This person would be autonomous and in charge of their own schedule and time off and would see between 15-25 clients per week.
They would be required to have a PhD or PsyD in psychology and be licensed in the state of Georgia by the time they join our team.
We expect them to be well-trained and experienced in work with children, adolescents and families.
They may also have opportunities to work with adults at times, in the context of parenting or otherwise.
Compensation will be on a percentage basis with the payment for the clinician increasing after a certain amount of collections.
If this partnership continues to be positive for both parties, then the percentage the clinician receives will increase significantly after two years.

We look forward to hearing from interested colleagues.
