One of my top home builders is on the search for a Purchasing Manager! They are well-respected in the area and emphasize growth, mentorship, and development of their employees.

The Purchasing Manager will be overseeing the entire purchasing department. They will also be the connection between the purchasing and estimating department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and builders
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and building codes to ensure compliance

Qualifications

- 2 years of residential production purchasing experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with Home Front, Hyphen Solutions, Build Pro, and Supply Pro software is a bonus
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
